Psychiatrist Receives Prison Sentence
Psychiatrist Ajit Trikha of Belleville, East St. Louis, who has featured before in this Blog, received a 30 month prison sentence yesterday.
He admitted to defrauding Medicare of $1.75 million. He pleaded guilty to two counts of health care fraud by over-billing Medicare and Medicaid.
Trikha also has to pay back the money that he defrauded from the system.
