GlaxoSmithKline have been fined in a New Zealand court for lying about ‘Ribena’. ‘Ribena’ is a huge selling children’s cordial drink advertised to contain higher levels of Vitamin C than orange juice.
A school science project exposed that it contained no detectable levels of Vitamin C at all. Why didn’t they put some Vitamin C in the drink? One can only assume that it goes against the grain to do anything in an honest and ethical way. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
